English Funeral Home, 378 Maryland Oakmont. Christmas toy fund needs $23,000 The 45th annual Goodfellows' Christmas Toy Fund is $23,000 short of its $120,000 goal. The 1991 campaign, which was sponsored by the Optimist Club of Pittsburgh and the Post-Gazette, raised $97,087.06 for the children of Pittsburgh's neediest families.

Unfortunately, this is not enough money to pay for the new toys that were distributed to some 70,000 underprivileged children living in hospitals, institutions and poverty-stricken homes throughout the Pittsburgh area. To guarantee the future of the Goodfellows' Christmas Toy Fund, the sponsors must pay for the toys that will provide months of joy for youngsters who don't often have a lot to be happy about. Therefore, the Goodfellows must make one final plea for your support. Please consider sending a tax-deductible contribution to the Goodfel- OBITUARIES Jack Carpman, past executive at Mobay plant Services for Jack M.
